Cryoembryo transfer
Cryoembryotransfer (KET) is the transfer of a thawed embryo into a woman's uterus, following a previous cycle of assisted reproduction. This procedure requires that you already have frozen embryos with us – either from IVF treatment with your own eggs or with donated eggs. This gentle and often very successful procedure gives new hope – with the aim of fulfilling your wish to become parents.

What is KET and who is it intended for?
Cryoembryotransfer (KET) is a procedure in which a previously frozen embryo is transferred to the uterus. This procedure follows on from previous infertility treatment and is a very gentle method of assisted reproduction. KET is only possible if you already have embryos stored in our cryobank – either from IVF treatment with your own or donated eggs.
It is intended for couples who have undergone IVF in the past and have frozen embryos, as well as those who have used donated eggs in combination with IVF treatment. Cryoembryotransfer is also often recommended if it was not possible to perform a so-called "fresh transfer" in the same cycle as egg retrieval – for example, due to hormonal imbalance, the need for genetic testing of the embryo (PGT), or to plan a more suitable timing.
The advantage of this procedure is that it is not time-consuming or physically demanding – you only need to spend one day at the clinic. The entire process is very gentle on the body and at the same time maintains a very good chance of pregnancy.
Every frozen embryo carries hope – and we are here to help it grow into a new life.

Consultation with a doctor
(optional)
Consult your condition with a doctor for free either online or via email. This step is optional.
Agree on a treatment strategy
The doctor will suggest the most suitable treatment strategy and issue a stimulation protocol. Once this has been approved, the coordinator will issue prescriptions for medication.
Start stimulation
Day 2 of the menstrual cycle
Start stimulation with medication on the second day of your cycle, the month you start is up to you.
Ultrasound
Days 10–12 of the menstrual cycle
Have an ultrasound scan to measure the height of the endometrium – usually on the 10th to 12th day of the cycle.
How much does KET cost?
Treatment using cryoembryotransfer is not only less time-consuming, but also significantly more affordable than a full IVF cycle. This is because most of the demanding steps – ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, and fertilization – have already been completed in the past. At this stage, we only prepare the uterine lining to receive the already created and frozen embryo.
The price of cryoembryotransfer consists of several parts. The basic package includes everything necessary, from the design of the treatment strategy to the actual transfer of the embryo into the uterus. To this, we only add the cost of medication and any additional methods, if you decide to use them.
Cryoembryotransfer is therefore a convenient and cost-effective way to achieve pregnancy – especially if you already have embryos from previous treatment.

Frequently asked questions
Všechny přípravné kroky (konzultace, stimulace, ultrazvuk) můžete absolvovat z pohodlí domova – třeba i z jiné země.
Není – ale doporučujeme ji. Konzultace je zdarma a pomůže nám navrhnout léčbu šitou na míru. Může proběhnout online nebo e-mailem.
Zůstáváme vám plně k dispozici i dál. V případě, že máte zamrazená další embrya, domluvíme s vámi další postup a vymyslíme novou strategii léčby.
