COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPY
Despite the latest methods and the high success rate of IVF treatment, the path to a baby may not always be according to our wishes. To make this period as easy as possible, we offer you the possibility of individual or paired consultations not only in the field of infertility within the framework of individualised care and cooperation with expert consultant Linda Steele.

I fully understand the harsh realities, and complexities involved, in sometimes attempting to become a parent. I further fully appreciate the immense psychological and physical strains of these heartbreaking experiences. It is often also, an isolating journey.
I am a fully qualified counsellor since 1999. I have a Diploma in Counselling, and I am fully BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) accredited as a current member. I am also on the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, certificate number 044189. My registration details can be accessed here.
I also hold a BSc(Hons) Degree in Psychology. Additionally, I hold a current valid enhanced DBS certificate.
I have worked as a counsellor since 2000 within various roles. These include a cancer charity, an NHS Hospital, a children's home, a women’s charity, a community outreach organisation, schools, private practice and SANDS (stillbirth and neonatal death charity). I have extensive experience in providing counselling to children and adults. I also have facilitated support groups, intervention groups and mediation groups.

Counselling provides a supportive relationship where you can gain awareness about yourself and how you relate to others. In counselling, you have the opportunity to be heard in a safe, confidential environment. You can share your deepest concerns and receive support in meeting the challenges you face. People often come to counselling to deal with a crisis in their lives or because they are no longer prepared to tolerate an on-going situation. Counselling allows you the opportunity to cope with life’s challenges and to thereby grow from them.
